Chainsaw Skills Workshop: Level I (Copy)
This intensive two-day hands-on training is appropriate for farm woodland owners and farm workers interested in advancing their power chainsaw use to include felling difficult trees, bucking stems to maximize value, extraction of logs with a farm tractor and forestry winch, and removal of storm damaged-and-downed trees. *This advanced course requires previous experience either by successfully completing a Level I workshop or permission of the instructor.
When: Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 12, 9 am - 5 pm each day. Bring your own lunch and beverages.

Our Home Place Meat Field Day
Our Home Place Meat will host a three-hour field day where local experts will educate and guide you on cattle price insurance, how to feed and finish cattle, and how to supplement your farm income with your woods.
Lunch is included and will be served at the end of the event. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about The Berry Farm and Forest Institute and upcoming classes/ workshops. Get your tickets here.

Our Home Place Meat Beef Bash
OHPM will launch our two key products: Rose Beef and Berry Beef. Local chefs who share our vision for strong agricultural communities will prepare and present “small bites” that highlight the meat’s distinctive quality. Knowledgeable staff will be on hand to discuss the Center’s essential work in land-conserving farming and community-conserving economics.
