This day-long workshop is designed to refine several essential chainsaw skills for those who have previously completed our two chainsaw training workshops: Introduction to Chainsaw Safety & Directional Felling and Advanced Tree Felling. We will begin in the shop with a deeper look at saw chain filing then head to the woods for the rest of the workshop. Topics will vary depending on participant interests though will include reviewing the nuances of bore cutting, the Swedish tree felling technique, de-limbing, and efficiently bucking stems to usable length.
